Spring Convention will happen the weekend of April 20-22, 2012. This weekend is when the Key Clubs of our district come together for fun times. There are a variety of forums to attend, a wonderful speaker, and a dance on Saturday night. All forums are facilitated by your 2011-2012 district board! Throughout the weekend, everyone wears nice dress clothes which add an element of fun. Saturday evening is the formal Governor's Ball. At this time, awards will be presented to clubs that placed in a particular category as well as talent competition awards. This year we welcome Lucy McDermott, our International Trustee! With all the people and activities happening this weekend, you won't want to miss out! Hope to see everyone in April.

What forums are being held at Spring Convention?

This year our forums are going to be based on service, education and officer training. When you come to Spring Convention, we will have president, vice president, secretary, publicist, treasurer and general member forums that explain the duties and expectations of the various leadership positions. Also, this year we’ll be having forums based on service projects. You’ll get to be hands on in helping organizations! We are also adding a service fair to the convention this year. Does your club have a signature activity in your school that is a great fundraiser or helps publicize your club? If you do, you can showcase your project at the service fair. We’re also having an ELIMINATE walk at Spring Convention for the first time. All of the above information will also be in the spring mailing that your club will receive in a few weeks.
