Governor's Project 2011-2012

 Hello! My name is Caitlin stroup, and I was recently elected as the 2011-2012 District Governor. For my project I chose to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, because my brother and sister both are living with CF. There are lots of opportunities for your club to get involved right now!
The first event is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Great Strides Walks. They are all over the Minnesota Dakota area. You can get involved several ways!

*First, thorough fundraising for the walk, you can help improve the quality of life for all those living with CF. This can be done anyway your club likes, but through the online registration there are fundraising ideas.
*Next, you can participate in the walk itself and raise awareness for CF.
*Lastly, there are volunteers needed to help run the walks. To sign up to volunteer contact your walk site representative from the CFF. They will answer any questions you have regarding the walk, funding or the registration process.

I hope you consider supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation throughout the year. At our district convention next spring, there will be awards for the most money raised, the most volunteers, and the most creative fundraiser. Walk Site Registration Process
Step 1 – Contact your CFF representative to speak about volunteer opportunities. They will answer any questions you have regarding volunteer needs list

Step 2 – Log on to Great Strides website at www.cff.org/great_strides.org

Step 3 – Choose State and Site on where you intend on volunteering and fundraising for

Step 4 – Click on “I am a walker who is a member of a team” and click on “Team Minn-Dak Key Club”

Step 5 –Be sure to insert your club name under “company name” to give your club credit.

Step 6 – Follow remaining registration instructions...and you are DONE!
