Hello! My name is Kyle Hakala, and I am your Region 3 Lt. Governor! I attend Hibbing High School, and will be starting my senior year next fall.
This year, I have plans to organize a region-wide service project, and get each every one of my clubsfilling out their monthly reports and monthly point forms on time. Besides being in Key Club for 3 years—one of which I was my club's secretary!—I am involved in FIRST Robotics, band, drama, and math team. I've always enjoyed helping people, and I always get asked the same question: "Why do you volunteer so much?" My answer to that question is always a little different, but it revolves around the same story that some of you may know as the "starfish" story. I may not be able to make a difference to everyone, but I know I made a difference for somebody!
