MinnDak Key Club

Hello there region 4!  I hope all has been going well in your clubs recently.  I just want to remind everyone to PAY THEIR DUES!  It is very important you send those in as soon as you possibly can. 

I know I keep bringing this up, but it is really important that you give me contact information for your club officers.  Most of you have and I thank you for that, if you haven’t, make sure you get that to me.  I have been very busy the past few weeks with school, swimming, and key club.  I am trying to focus on the skype meeting that we have been talking about having.  I really am looking forward to seeing everybody face to face.

Key Club week has come once again!  I would love to know what your club has planned!  Please take pictures to share with me!  This is a great way to get Key Club known in your school.  Plus, I need pictures to put in my newsletters.  Feel free to send pictures of any project your club takes part in.

The School year has started and that means you are having more club meetings and getting ready for the year!  Make sure you turn your dues in on time!  The earlier you get them in, the sooner you can officially be part of a great club 

Hey Region 4!  I hope school is going well for you all!  It is always exciting to get new members! You definitely want to get Key Club’s name out there, so what is your club doing to reach out and get people to join?  There are so many people who would love to join Key Club!  Don’t just tell them, but show them what we are about!  Recently, I have been working on setting up board training for our region!  Want to know the best part?  You don’t need to pay or drive anywhere!  We are going to have it during a skype meeting with me and my home club from Little Falls, MN!  I am very excited, I will finally be able to talk to you and answer your questions in person!  I will be talking to my club and all of you as well to pick a time and date that works!  This will be a great way to meet new people from other clubs!  I believe this will make everyone want to go to events such as Spring Convention!  It will also improve communication I hope! This year will definitely be a year to remember! Please feel free to contact me at any time! I love hearing from everyone!

This year will be slightly different from last year.  Instead of having our normal Fall Rally like in the past, we will be having a Fall Leadership day instead.  It will be held on August 5^th in Sioux Falls.  The regions that will be there are regions 4, 5, and 6.  It will most likely take place at a Homeless Sleepout or a Boys and Girls club.  I will keep you updated on all the details as I find out more.  Since it will be held at one of those places, the price won’t be that high.  You would most likely need to provide transportation and meals.  It is highly recommended that club officers go to this event.  I would encourage everybody to go though.  It will be a great way to get to know each other and have a great time!   

Some of you might be getting excited and ready for ICON this year.  It is taking place in Phoenix, Arizona from June 29^th until July 3^rd.  This will be the 68^th annual International Convention!  ICON is a great way to meet new friends and have fun!  I am sad I will not be going this year, but I know every person who goes will have a blast!
