How are y'all?
Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 3:59PM Hello clubs!
I have not heard from a lot of you in awhile and I would love to be in regular contact with you all! Please email, call or Facebook me anytime you want or need to! I still need contact info from a lot of you so make sure you have it into me! Thanks!
It's August!
Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 10:47AM Almost time for school to start. Hope everyone had a fabulous summer vacation. When school starts it is the perfect time to start new things. Maybe try a new project or make an old one better. What ever you do hope you can have fun while serving. Coming up clubs should start to think about membership recruitment.
What have I been up to this Summer?
Monday, July 11, 2011 at 5:05PM I have been pretty busy this summer! I love to make the most of summer so I do as much as possible! I went to my church’s camp for a week in June. Then I was home for a week then I went to Arizona for International Convention then I was home for another week and tomorrow I’m going up to the same church camp to counsel it! Also, my birthday is coming up in about a week on July 19th, feel free to say happy birthday :). I hangout with 4 of my closest friends (Sam, Marina, Abby, and Megan) most of my days at home. We go to half price appetizers at Applebees a lot :) I want to know what you guys have been up to this summer so feel free to email or text me!
District Theme!
Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 9:43AM Drum roll please……and the theme this year is Service is our game. This theme has tons of possible ways to get carried out in your clubs’ projects this coming year! Each region has their own special name and our region (7a) is named the Sassy Scrabblers! I hope you guys love the name as much as I do! I think your club should make their own individual goals for the year but my regional goal is to have very strong communication between clubs and between the clubs and me. I am very excited to get to serve as the lieutenant governor for this 2011-2012 year and I hope you all will not be shy if you are wondering about anything!
Introduction
Friday, June 10, 2011 at 1:53PM Hello everyone! My name is Maddy Earley and I am your new lieutenant governor for the 2011-2012 year! Let me start my first newsletter off by telling you a little about myself. I am from Fridley, Minnesota. I am fifteen years old and a sophomore at Fridley High School. I am the youngest of four children, two brothers and one sister. One of my brother is our club’s president! I have a little Pomeranian named Ruby. Besides Key Club I am also involved in Student Council, Spanish Club, Volleyball, Basketball, and Drama Club! One of my favorite projects in Key Club is the live to learn project. I love working with little kids so it is right up my alley! I hope I get to know you all well this year and that we have a successful year! What sparked my interest in Key Club was after my freshman year working with Key Club I got the chance to go to last year’s International Convention in Memphis, Tennessee. It was truly an experience I will never forget, from dancing with Crazy Mary to getting dared to sing Taylor Swift at 2 in the morning in our tour bus’ bathroom at the top of my lungs. I really encourage your clubs to try to send some people to this year’s ICON! It’s not too late! I welcome your articles and pictures to put in this newsletter just send them to me! I will also have a special spot for a key clubber of the month so send me your nominations!
Maddy Earley
