Afternoon Meetings
Monday, January 16, 2012 at 1:36PM A lot of the clubs in our region hold weekly morning meetings. However, afternoon meetings should also be considered. My club started afternoon meetings this year and we’ve been able to work with multiple organizations, helping them do things each time. During past afternoon meetings we have:
- Organized a haunted hallway benefitting the Rochester Public Schools Foundation
- Helped set up Paranoia
- Tied blankets to give to Ronald McDonald House
- Helped plan a senior citizens “Senior Prom”
- Put up posters around the school advertising the ELIMINATE Project
Afternoon meetings not only allow you to have more time with members, but they also allow you to do service projects during your meeting. It’s a very beneficial way to get members active and serving!
