Key Club

“Caring - Our Way of life.”

Key Club is the largest student led service organzation for high school students that is worldwide. We strive to give students opportunities to serve, build leadership skills, and grow character. Our core values are leadership, character building, caring, and inclusiveness. Some ideals we have include giving primacy to human and spiritual, rather than to the material values in life and to provide a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render unselfish service and to build better communities. 

Kiwanis

“Serving the children of the world.”

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the lives of youth, communities, and the world. Founded in 1915 in Detroit, Michigan, Kiwanis International has grown to include over 550,000 members in more than 80 countries around the world. Individual Kiwanis clubs are dedicated to serving their local communities, with a particular focus on children and youth. Kiwanis International as an organization are primarily based in Indiana, with there headquarters in Indianapolis. On an international level, Kiwanis focuses on aiding communities and youth to bigger scales with greater benefits. Kiwanis is the parent organization to each branch including Key Club, Builders Club, and Circle K. There aid to these groups include mentoring, community focus and service projects, and donations and fundraising. Overall, Kiwanis is a powerful and great organization that aids communities around the world to outstanding extents.

Circle K

“Live to serve. love to serve”

Circle-K is the largest student led service organization for college students. They have thousands of members located on five continents around the world. When CKI (Circle-K) members leave college they have networking, advocating, and service leadership skills. Members are dedicated to environmental issues, childhood development, and helping those who have food insecurity, lack housing, and lack of mental health. Along with working with UNICEF and USA to help fight the lack of clean water worldwide. 

Builders Club

“Building leaders.”

Builders club is basically Kiwanis for middle and junior high school students. They are the largest service organization in the world for this age group, have over 1,600 clubs, and over 45,000 members. They are partnered with UNICEF and March of Dimes which lets them help more children around the world. Their members learn servant-leaders skills while helping to serve their school and community. Builders club is also a student-led organization with Kiwanis’ International Office in Indianapolis, Indiana as their sponsor. They are always striving to make new leaders for our world. 

K-Kids

“We build.”

K-Kids is the largest student led service organization for elementary school kids and was founded in 2000. It currently has more than 36,000 members worldwide, and more than 1,200 clubs. They work in schools, YMCA’s, libraries, and more. Along with being supported by Kiwanis, they also have district volunteers to help them run clubs. K-Kids works to give kids opportunities to service their community, build leadership skills, and grow character. 

Aktion Club

“Where development has no DIsability.”

Aktion Club is a branch the Kiwanis Family created to teach adults living with disabilities about servant leadership. The club mission is to provide adults living with disabilities an opportunity to develop initiative, leadership skills and to serve their communities. Members have the opportunity to build their leadership and decision making skills through meaningful community service activities and taking on leadership roles within their club. It is the only community service organization out there made for adults with disabilities, consisting of over 12,000 members globally. In partnership with support from the district level and the Kiwanis International Office in Indianapolis, Indiana, Aktion Club is provided with programs, literature, and opportunities to relate to individuals with disabilities from countries around the world.
