Our Administrators
Kyle Hakala
District Administrator
I was once a Key Clubber myself from Hibbing High School in Division 3A. After a couple years racking up service hours and leading a couple projects, I was elected as club secretary, and then served as a Lieutenant Governor for what is now Division 3a and 3b (formerly “Region 3”).
After graduating from high school, I stayed in the K-Family during college by becoming an intern for the Minnesota-Dakotas District admin team. That eventually morphed into me becoming an Assistant Administrator, and now I have been the District Administrator since 2018.
Along with helping Key Club at the district level, I’m a Kiwanis member in Saint Louis Park, MN, and more recently a Kiwanis Advisor for Eden Prairie High School Key Club!
Outside of the Kiwanis Family, I work as an IT infrastructure engineer for Be The Match (the National Marrow Donor Program). I love finding ways to embrace technology for good causes.

District Assistant Administrator
I joined the Webster, SD Kiwanis Club in 2001 after I moved here to take a job as a Physician at our local Hospital and was invited to speak at their Monday meeting. I have held various jobs with the Kiwanis Club including multiple committees and I served a year as President. I am currently the Lt. Governor for Division 5. I became one of our Key Club Advisor’s in 2010 and have since loved this position. I am also the advisor to the Builders club. In my spare time, other than volunteering, I enjoy camping and traveling.

Sally Roberts
District Assistant Administrator
I joined my high school's Key Club at Shanley High School in Fargo, ND as a way to get more involved with volunteering and service in my local community. After connecting with Key Clubbers from other high schools in the area I eventually joined the District Board and Served as the Lieutenant Governor for what is now Divisions 2A and 2B!
After graduating highschool I moved out of state for a while where I stayed connected to volunteering and servant leadership during and post my undergraduate education by working with groups such as Children's Miracle Network, local organizations dedicated to combating homelessness, a variety of educational programs dedicated to providing academic assistance to children and youth from at-risk communities, and more. Eventually I moved back to the MinnDak District and reconnected with Key Club and the Kiwanis family and became a member of the St. Louis Park Kiwanis Club and an Assistant Administrator for the Key Club MinnDak District Board in the spring of 2024.
In my day-to-day life, I work as an IT Senior Consultant, serve as a mentor within the Access Point Program, and spend extra time travelling or testing out recipes on friends and family.
