Hi MinnDak! My name is Nathan Gonzalez and I am your 2024-2025 District Governor. Currently, I am a Senior at Fridley High School. Outside of Key Club, I'm my school's black student union president, a cheer captain, a speech captain, and I also do tons of other activities like theatre, GSA, MHS, choir, and golf. 

I've been a part of the Kiwanis Family for over 6 years. My journey started in 6th grade when I joined my middle school’s Builders Club where I would eventually serve as Club Treasurer. Once I entered high school, I immediately joined Key Club and by the end of my freshman year, I was elected as my Club President. As a sophomore I was elected onto the District Board as a Lieutenant Governor but halfway through the term I would end up stepping into the position of District Bulletin Editor.

As your District Governor, I plan to work to increase club connections with the district, grow our membership and charter new clubs, and simply make the district board more of an accesible and valueable resource to all of you! I am driven by a strong drive of care and servant leadership and I can't wait to work with you all this year as your District Governor. I want to be able to connect to as many of you as possible, so don’t be afraid to reach out to me if you have a question, concern, or even just want to say hi!

Hey Mighty MinnDak! I’m Melissa Juarez Best, and I’m beyond thrilled to be your secretary for the 2024-2025 service year! Outside of Key Club, I’m involved in student council, HOSA, MHS, and Yarn Club. Being in Key Club is something that I’ve found so much passion and love for throughout my past term as MinnDak’s Division 7a LTG, at the 2024 ICON I was awarded the Robert F. Lucas Outstanding LTG award for my work last term! I look forward to working with you all in strengthening our district with engagement, friendship, and in service.

Hello friends! I am Aly and I will be serving as your 2024-2025 Minnesota-Dakotas District Bulletin Editor! I am captain of my swim team, a National Honor Society member, captain of my speech team, active in national HSDA committees, the Vice President of my schools student council, and Co-President of my schools HOSA chapter! I am the past Webmaster for my home club, the former committee chair for district service projects, a Robert F. Lucas Outstanding LTG award recipient, and the former LTG of Division 6! I am so excited to work with the board this year in our efforts to continue pushing MinnDak to be the best it possibly can be.

What’s up MinnDak! I’m Leopold, your new Division 3B LTG. I’m electric to have the opportunity to serve on the district board and rep 3B! When I have free time I love to spend time outside with friends (especially on the lake), Football, Cross-Country skiing, and ultimate frisbee. I also enjoy playing cello, spending time with my family and dogs, and anything social or helpful to my community. I’m stoked for this upcoming year of service with all of you!
