Serving on the District Board

Hey Key Clubbers! As many of you know we have DCON in a couple months and that also means a new District Board will be sworn in! We need dedicated members like you to fill these Board positions when the time comes! 

The District Board takes care of all the behind the scenes work in our District. We meet on how to promote service, how to keep members engaged, and we plan Fall Rally and DCON! If you are interested in becoming a part of the District Board you can become an LTG! A Lieutenant Governor(LTG) is put in charge of your home division of clubs within our District. It is then this person’s job to email information from the board to these clubs, keep them motivated and answer any questions they may have. To become an LTG you must come to DCON and present a speech at caucusing on why you should be LTG. All candidates for the LTG of your division are voted upon and the LTG is then selected. If you cannot attend DCON and no one is voted into your division, you may then send in a biosketch to the Board on why you want to be LTG. If you cannot attend DCON and someone is voted into your division you may then send in a biosketch to the board to become a Liason. A liaison is just a fancy word for the LTG of a division that is not your own. If you have more questions please email the District board
