Governor’s Project
Governor's Project: United Way Worldwide
Project Description:
This year’s governor’s project is United Way Worldwide. United Way Worldwide mobilizes communities around the world to close gaps and open opportunities so everyone can thrive regardless of the barriers created by homelessness. Through its global network spanning 34 countries and 1,100 communities, United Way connects partners, donors, volunteers, and community leaders to tackle the root causes of the world’s most complex challenges created by homelessness while making a positive impact in the lives of millions of people. While they function at an International scale, they’re local chapters (many of which are within MinnDak) allow the impact to be felt locally. Governor Nathan selected this for his governor’s project due to the struggles of homelessness he witnessed in his own community growing up. You can learn more about United Way Worldwide on there Official Website.
District Governor's Project Mission:

How We Plan to Achieve This Mission:

Consistent virtual resources through social media, newsletters, and webinars.
Partner with MinnDak-local United Way chapters
Reach out to a local chapter and see if they’d be interested in connecting with your Key Club. Governor Nathan, the Programs and Partners Task-Force, or your LTG are all happy to help with this process.
