Membership Growth Goal

Upcoming Dates

Webinar to come in December

What is it?

This year the district board has set a goal of increasing our District Membership by 25% by the District Conference this March. We are setting out to do this because we believe it is important to work actively to grow our reach as an organization and expand the impact that we’re able to have.

How We Plan to Achieve It

We plan to achieve this goal through the chartering of new clubs as well as the expansion of existing clubs. We hope to charter at least 5 new clubs by the end of the term, leaving an average 9 new members needed per club compared to each clubs total membership last service year (2023-2024) in order to meet this goal. This takes the work of our Executive Team to strategize and progress check our membership, our Lieutenant Governor’s to help advise and support clubs in increasing their membership, our Membership Development Committee to work on chartering clubs, and our Public Relations and Newsletters Committees to spread the word and offer resources to the district regarding the Membership Goal.

How You can Help

With as big of a goal as this is, it isn’t solely achievable by the work of our district board. That’s why we are making this a district wide initiative. At the club level, you can work on reaching out to new classmates and strategizing with your club on how to grow your own club's membership. This isn’t just the responsibility of your club, your Lieutenant Governor is there to provide any tips, tricks, or resources on how you can grow club membership. In order to reach your personal clubs growth goal, you’ll need to know your past and present membership for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 service years respectively. Your Lieutenant Governor as well as our Executive Team are all equipped with this information. And of course, attending our  future webinars. So reach out to your Lieutenant Governor or a District Board Member today and find out how your club can help MinnDak reach our 25% Membership Growth Goal.
